SHIPPING DISCLOSURE

Powers farm is a small farm in Patterson Ga. We thrive to produce high
quality hatching eggs from our farm to yours. Please remember that shipped
hatching eggs is a gamble. Once a package leaves our possession, we have
taken every possible precaution to protect the eggs during transit. Eggs are
wrapped individually in bubble wrap. Placed inside a egg carton pointy end
down. Cartons are placed in a box filled with foam and shredded paper,
then more foam and shredded paper is placed on top of cartons. Packages
are marked fragile hatching eggs and do not x-ray. However, I cannot
guarantee what UPS does with the package after it leaves my possession.
Here at my farm, I have a 85 to a 90% hatch rate. Please do your research on
how to hatch shipped hatching eggs. After lots of research and practice, I
suggest you start with a good incubator. Once your eggs arrive, let them rest
inside your incubator pointy end down. Let them rest for 2 to 3 days without
turning. After they have rested for that time, you can start your turner
rotation. Here in southeast Ga I keep my humidity at around 25 to 30% for
the first 18 days. Then I lay my eggs down in the incubator for lockdown. At
lockdown, I increase the humidity to 50%. I do not increase the humidity
anymore until I start seeing little peeps. At that time, I add a little more
water to get the humidity to around 60%. Your humidity will gradually
increase as chicks start to hatch. Check your zones humidity, it may
fluctuate in different areas. These are quality hatching eggs and not
hatchery stock.
